AI medical scribe in India: notes written inside your clinic
Most AI scribes upload the consultation. This one writes the note on a computer inside your clinic, and the recording never leaves it.
Clinic Scribe listens to the consultation the way a trained assistant would, drafts a structured clinical note in English, and shows you the words behind every line. You correct it and sign it. It is built for how Indian consultations actually sound: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and English mixed in one sentence, numbers said in English, a relative in the room, and Indian drug brands.

Built for the way Indian consultations sound
Doctors and patients switch languages inside a sentence, and most say numbers in English even mid-Hindi: “sugar one forty”, “BP one twenty by eighty”, “HbA1c seven point eight”. The scribe reads English number words in every Indian script, so the note gets 140, 120/80 and 7.8 rather than words, and it knows Indian drug brands: Telma, Glycomet, Thyronorm, Dolo 650, Pan 40, Nexito, Foracort, Urimax and many more.
- English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Urdu, including mixed speech
- Numbers, doses and dates said in English inside any Indian language
- Indian brands recognised, and likely mishearings flagged for you to check
- A relative’s own medicines kept out of the patient’s list
It shows its evidence instead of asking to be trusted
A fluent note can still be wrong. So each fact sits beside the words it came from, and the scribe stops you before signing when something does not add up. You tick each flag after checking it; nothing is changed silently.
- A medicine stopped in the conversation but written as continued
- A dose outside the usual range — “Telma 400” where 40 was meant
- A self-correction the note missed — “Betnovate, sorry, Mometasone”
- A “no” the note forgot — “Fever?” “Nahi.”
- Spoons written as ml or grams
- A decimal that was not fully heard — “seven point…”
- A medicine only a relative mentioned
Specialties it is built for
One computer serves every doctor in the clinic, whatever their specialty. Each specialty has its own drug list, dose ranges and the negatives its doctors always ask about.
Psychiatrists · Fertility clinics · Dermatologists · Diabetologists · Paediatricians · Neurologists · Pulmonologists · Urologists · Dietitians · General physicians
The recording never leaves your clinic
Clinic Scribe runs on a small computer we install in your clinic. The consultation is transcribed and the note is written there; the audio is deleted as soon as it is transcribed, and every deletion is logged with a time you can show a patient. Nothing goes to a cloud server, ours or anyone else’s, and it keeps working when the internet does not.
How Clinic Scribe works · AI medical scribe in India
For clinics with several doctors
Each doctor is chosen on the tablet, so the note carries their specialty and their name, and the clinic board shows each doctor’s queue: recorded, being written, waiting for signature, signed. The board also shows how many recordings are on the computer right now (normally none) and when the last one was deleted.
A two-week pilot, then a monthly fee
The pilot is free for two weeks with one doctor, with the success measure agreed in writing before day one; if it is not met we take the computer back and every signed note stays yours. After that it is ₹15,000 a month per doctor plus GST, with the computer, microphone and clinic tablet included, ₹10,000 for each extra doctor in the same clinic, and ₹25,000 once for installation.
The short answer
If a cloud scribe is acceptable to you and your patients, it will be cheaper. If the recording leaving the building is the problem, or your consultations are in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil or Urdu with English mixed in, this is what Clinic Scribe was built for.
Frequently asked questions
Does the audio go to the cloud?
No. It is transcribed and the note is written on a computer installed in your clinic. The audio is deleted once it is transcribed, and every deletion is logged.
Does it diagnose or prescribe?
No. It writes up what was said. You review, correct and sign every note; nothing is filed without your signature.
What if a patient does not want to be recorded?
Tap “Patient declined” and nothing is recorded. You can dictate a short summary yourself after the patient leaves, and the note is marked as dictated.
Which languages does it understand?
English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Urdu, including switching mid-sentence. The note is written in English. Accuracy for your languages is measured in your own pilot before you rely on it.
Does it make my clinic DPDP compliant?
No product can do that on its own: the clinic is the Data Fiduciary and owns consent, records and retention. Keeping the recording inside the building is simply one less thing to explain.
How much does it cost?
₹15,000 a month per doctor plus GST, with the computer, microphone and tablet included; ₹10,000 for each extra doctor; ₹25,000 once for installation. The first two weeks are free.
