Looking for a Bolna alternative?
Per-minute platform billing and a flat product fee are not the same purchase.
Bolna is part of a growing set of Indian voice-AI platforms: you build the agent, you often bring your own telephony, and you are billed for what you use. For a team with engineers that model is efficient and flexible. FrontivaAI is priced and shaped as a product rather than a platform - Rs 7,000 a month with 1,000 voice minutes included, your services and prices loaded by us, your existing number forwarded, live in about three days. This page is about which of those two purchases fits the business you actually run.

A usage bill and a product fee behave differently
This is worth thinking about before the first invoice rather than after it. Per-minute platform pricing is honest and it scales down beautifully when you are testing - which is exactly when you are looking at it. It scales the other way too. A flat fee with minutes included is worse value at ten calls a month and more predictable at four hundred, and predictability is usually what a clinic owner is buying. Neither is a trick; they suit different months. Work out your real monthly minutes first - calls a day, times average length, times days open - and the answer stops being a matter of opinion.
When an Indian voice-AI platform is the better choice
We would rather you bought the right thing.
- You have developers and want to build and own the agent
- You already have SIP trunking or a telephony provider you want to keep
- You need outbound at volume, or a flow that is not a front desk
- You are building voice into a product, or running agents for clients
- You want to choose your own model, voice and latency trade-offs
When a finished receptionist is the better choice
Narrower problem, much more common.
- Nobody in the business writes code and nobody is going to
- You want one predictable number on the invoice
- You want your prices, staff and hours loaded for you before it answers anything
- You want the appointment written into a calendar your front desk already opens
- You want it answering your existing number this week
What FrontivaAI does not do
So the comparison is fair in both directions.
- No agent builder, no prompt editor and no API for constructing your own agents
- You cannot bring your own model, your own voice provider or your own telephony
- No SIP trunking or number pools - you forward a number you already have
- One business line per tenant, not a multi-tenant platform you resell
- English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali. It does not speak Gujarati or Punjabi
- Calls are transcribed, not recorded
- No integration into practice-management, LMS or CRM systems
Why there is no feature-by-feature table here
Their products, plans and prices change, and we are not going to quote numbers for a company we cannot verify on the day you read this. Check their own site for current details, then judge this page on what it claims about us: Rs 7,000 a month, 1,000 voice minutes, eight languages, live in about three days, no lock-in.
The short answer
If you want to build a voice agent, buy a platform - they are good at that and we are not one. If you want your phone answered and the appointment booked, that is the whole of what this is.
