AI calling agent for recruitment in Bengaluru
Reach them before the other three do.
A Bengaluru shortlist is a race you enter late. Applications land through the evening, recruiters work through them the following afternoon, and the strong candidates have already had two conversations by then. What an AI calling agent changes is not the quality of the screen - your recruiter is better at that - it is the hour at which the first one happens. It rings within minutes, asks the same questions of everybody, and books the interview into a calendar your team already shares.
At a glance
| What it does | Where the edge is | |
|---|---|---|
| When it calls | Within minutes of the application arriving | You set the window; nothing dials outside it |
| What it asks | Your screening questions, in the same order, every time | Facts only - it does not rate anybody |
| Language | Kannada, English and Hindi, and it follows the candidate | It does not translate between two people |
| What it captures | Experience, current and expected CTC, notice period, location, shift | As fields, not as notes |
| Interview booking | Into the recruiters shared calendar, confirmed on WhatsApp | Only slots you have opened |
| Who it will not call | Anyone marked do-not-call, enforced in the query | Not in a script that could be skipped |
Why the first ten minutes decide the hire
A candidate who applies at nine in the evening is not comparing your role against nothing - they are comparing it against every other application they sent that night. The recruiter who reaches them first gets the honest version of their notice period and their expectations. In Bengaluru, where a strong candidate can have four live processes by the weekend, that is most of the advantage there is to have. The agent is not better at this than your recruiter; it is just awake.
Bengaluru rings in Kannada, English and Hindi
This is a city where the caller is as likely to open in English as in Kannada, and where the person they are calling about often speaks neither. A screening call that opens in English and cannot follow the candidate when they switch is a call that ends early. The agent picks the language from the candidate's own sentence, and Kannada is spoken in a Kannada voice rather than by a Hindi voice approximating it.

What it captures, and what it refuses to judge
It records answers as fields, not impressions. Years of experience, current and expected CTC, notice period, location, shift preference, and the one or two role-specific questions you write. It does not score communication skills, does not read enthusiasm, and does not decide who advances - a recruiter does that from a list sorted by the answers, with the transcript one click away. An agent that claims to rank candidates is claiming something it cannot support.
- One fact per question - how many years in inside sales, not tell me about your background
- Thresholds live in the dashboard, so the agent asks everyone the same way and the filter is applied after
- The role-specific question goes last, so somebody who fails the floor is not made to explain a process
- Every call ends with the interview offer or a clear the recruiter will call you - never a dead end
Inbound counts too
A job posting produces calls as well as applications, and they arrive on Friday evening. The agent answers those with the same screening questions, so an inbound candidate and an outbound one land in the same list with the same fields rather than one being a form and the other a sticky note.

Hiring in Bengaluru: the candidate has three other offers
Volume is not the hard part in Bengaluru, competition is. A decent engineer or support hire is running several processes at once, and the variable that decides the outcome is usually how fast somebody reached them and whether the notice-period conversation happened honestly on day one. The agent is useful here because it is indifferent to volume at nine in the evening, and because it asks the awkward questions - expected CTC, actual notice, whether they have an offer in hand - in exactly the same words for everybody.
- Expected CTC and notice period captured on the first call, not discovered in week three
- Whether an offer is already in hand, which is the single most useful field in this market
- Work-location preference, because a role in Whitefield and one in Electronic City are different jobs to the same candidate
- Same questions for every candidate, so the shortlist is comparable rather than anecdotal
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace recruiters?
No. It handles the repetitive part - first contact, the same six questions, and booking the interview - so recruiters spend their time on the conversations that need judgement.
Which languages does it screen in?
English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali, and it follows the candidate when they switch. In Bengaluru that usually means Kannada, English and Hindi.
Can it call candidates outside working hours?
It calls inside the window you set. Candidates answer more readily early morning and evening, but that is your decision to make, not ours.
Does it work with our ATS?
Through webhooks, n8n or Zapier rather than native connectors. There is no native ATS integration.
What does it cost?
Rs 7,000 a month including 1,000 voice minutes, then Rs 7 a minute. Screening calls are short, so the allowance goes a long way.
