AI calling agent for recruitment in Ahmedabad
Reach them in their own language, before the others do.
Many Ahmedabad roles - sales, back-office, shop-floor, support - are filled from candidates who respond from a mobile phone and are often more comfortable in Gujarati than in English. A first screen that rings within minutes, in the candidate's language, asks the same questions of everybody and books the interview into a calendar your team already shares changes the hour at which the process starts. It does not replace your recruiter's judgement; it gets the first conversation done while the candidate is still waiting to hear.

At a glance
| What it does | Where the edge is | |
|---|---|---|
| When it calls | Within minutes of the application arriving | You set the window; nothing dials outside it |
| What it asks | Your screening questions, in the same order, every time | Facts only - it does not rate anybody |
| Language | Gujarati, Hindi and English, and it follows the candidate | It does not translate between two people |
| What it captures | Experience, current and expected CTC, notice period, location, shift | As fields, not as notes |
| Interview booking | Into the recruiters shared calendar, confirmed on WhatsApp | Only slots you have opened |
| Who it will not call | Anyone marked do-not-call, enforced in the query | Not in a script that could be skipped |
Why the first ten minutes decide the hire
A candidate who applies at nine in the evening is not comparing your role against nothing - they are comparing it against every other application they sent that night. The recruiter who reaches them first gets the honest version of their notice period and their expectations. In Ahmedabad, where a strong candidate can have four live processes by the weekend, that is most of the advantage there is to have. The agent is not better at this than your recruiter; it is just awake.
Ahmedabad rings in Gujarati, Hindi and English
Here the candidate is as likely to open in Gujarati as in English or Hindi, and a screening call that opens in English and cannot follow them when they switch is a call that ends early. The agent picks the language from the candidate's own sentence, says numbers such as notice period and expected pay as Gujarati words, and speaks Gujarati in a Gujarati voice. Gujarati is the newest language we have added, so ask for a test with your own screening questions before you rely on it.

What it captures, and what it refuses to judge
It records answers as fields, not impressions. Years of experience, current and expected CTC, notice period, location, shift preference, and the one or two role-specific questions you write. It does not score communication skills, does not read enthusiasm, and does not decide who advances - a recruiter does that from a list sorted by the answers, with the transcript one click away. An agent that claims to rank candidates is claiming something it cannot support.
- One fact per question - how many years in inside sales, not tell me about your background
- Thresholds live in the dashboard, so the agent asks everyone the same way and the filter is applied after
- The role-specific question goes last, so somebody who fails the floor is not made to explain a process
- Every call ends with the interview offer or a clear the recruiter will call you - never a dead end
Inbound counts too
A job posting produces calls as well as applications, and they arrive on Friday evening. The agent answers those with the same screening questions, so an inbound candidate and an outbound one land in the same list with the same fields rather than one being a form and the other a sticky note.

Hiring in Ahmedabad: trading houses, plants and support desks
Ahmedabad hires for very different employers at the same time: family-run trading and textile houses, pharma and chemical units on the industrial estates around the city, and a growing set of sales and support desks. The role-specific questions differ, but the opening is the same everywhere - how soon can you join, what are you earning now, where can you work. The agent asks those in the same words for everybody and writes the answers as fields, so the shortlist is comparable rather than anecdotal.
- Notice period and current and expected pay captured on the first call, in Gujarati if the candidate prefers
- Shift and location preference, because a plant role and a city desk are different jobs to the same person
- Whether the candidate already has another offer in hand
- Same questions for every candidate, so the list can be sorted instead of argued about
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace recruiters?
No. It handles the repetitive part - first contact, the same six questions, and booking the interview - so recruiters spend their time on the conversations that need judgement.
Which languages does it screen in?
English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati, and it follows the candidate when they switch. In Ahmedabad that usually means Gujarati, Hindi and English.
Can it call candidates outside working hours?
It calls inside the window you set. Candidates answer more readily early morning and evening, but that is your decision to make, not ours.
Does it work with our ATS?
Through webhooks, n8n or Zapier rather than native connectors. There is no native ATS integration.
What does it cost?
Rs 7,000 a month including 1,000 voice minutes, then Rs 7 a minute. Screening calls are short, so the allowance goes a long way.
